We hired the Flooring Source to remove and install new carpeting for our9,000 sq foot building.To say that we are challenging customers is an understatement. We are a business that operates from 6:30 am until 11:30 pm Monday - Friday with weekend hours as well.We are a business with over 50 cubicle set ups complete with wiring running through them and a great deal of printers, computers, and other office equipment to work around. Our experience with the Flooring Source was outstanding.Steve Fotopolous and his installation team were great from start to finish.They accepted every "condition" that we imposed so that we could insure that our business operation would not be compromised in the process.The installers worked carefully with our cubicles to lift, replace and test the computers at every work station before moving on. They worked in the middle of the night to accommodate our operation needs. When I did not like the molding that I picked out, which they recommended against (by the way), Steve's response was "Not to worry, I'll have the new molding delivered in a few hours". In 15 years of working with contractors, we have only a handful of favorites.The Flooring Source is at the top of that list.We will never go anywhere else!

We had a floor redone by Floor Source in August 2016, and could not be happier with the end product. Steve was very helpful, knowledgeable, as was his staff, and we felt that their professionalism carried through from sales to the last minute of installation. We selected a vinyl flooring that replicates wide barn board beams, and it is amazing how much it looks like the old fashioned, worn barn floors, with many authentic nuances within the individual panels. We chose this for a room that opens up to the outside, so the vinyl was recommended as a floor that can hold up to moisture from outside, unlike laminate. Two installers tackled the job in less than a day, and their skill was evident, as well as their commitment to doing a very thorough and professional job.
I would absolutely recommend Floor Source for any flooring that you might be considering. They beat the big guys by 100% professionalism, knowledge of product, and follow-through which counts for a lot these days.

They did a lot of work in a short period of time and because of the master craftsmanship, our old rolling kitchen floor now looks like it belongs in a brand new home!

Just trust Steve !We had a hard time trusting people. But once we spoke to Steve we knew we could hand over our keys to him.We had quotes from different contractors which were quiet higher than Steve's. We were astonished to get such reasonable price along with quality. As usual googled different questions to ask Steve and we knew he knows his stuff inside out. Why the floors he recommends is better than what we have was the best question we asked and Steve gave us an explanation that convinced us that we can never open a hardwood floor store anywhere close to the Flooring Source.2 Days he said it would take and in 1.5 days we received his call that they were done. I chose The Flooring Source from three bids. The owner, Steve, came immediately to do an appraisal and gave me the quote on the spot. The work was done on time, at the price quoted, exactly to my expectations. His work crew were exceptionally personable, professional, tidy and quiet. They let themselves in and out of the house each day - often we didn't even realize they were there. The job was to remove the existing rug and tile a 900 square foot basement. The quality of the finished floor is excellent.

We had just moved to the area and were looking to have hardwood floors installed, something we'd never done before. Steve was wonderful. He came over immediately, appraised our job, explained precisely what he would do and answered any questions we had. He gave a precise estimate and, after some research, we considered it a very fair price. His crew was fantastic - professional, friendly, competent and very understanding of the needs of people like us who had just moved in and were a little overwhelmed by boxes and furniture everywhere at the same time as the floors were being done. They did the job quickly and efficiently and, most importantly, cleaned up after themselves every day and, at the end of the job, you'd never have known they were there. Special praise is due to Dan who, despite some personal challenges, took responsibility to see that our job was done in a timely manner and as promised. We had bamboo flooring put into a kitchen and adjoining den by a general contractor - big mistake with the type of floor and the contractor doing it! It was a mess and even if it wasn't we would not have liked it. We immediately got 3 new bids to rip it out and start over. Steve and Dan were clearly the most thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful in this process. After consideration and much help from the two we ended up choosing oak for the den and tile for the floor. Steve was great in offering choices and helping us evaluate and choose, it did not take long for him to steer us in the right direction and choose. Steve is very friendly and not pushy at all. Dan was also great in offering his advice. An additional bonus was that he offered to not only replace base boards and other wood trim, he painted and stained so that we had NO cleanup or work to do afterwards. The finished product is wonderful, no issues or problems and it looks great. Dan knew that we had suffered enough already with the prior work and he fit us in immediately. I would highly recommend these folks to do any flooring for you!
